Exmoor Trim hood failed after 3.5 years.

I just noticed this on my 3/4 hood. It's an Exmoor trim hood. Purchased Sept 2020.

It looks like the top panel has pulled out of the seam. It's not cut.

I'm not really expecting a replacement from ET, it lives outside most of the time and I do have a lot of trees dropping crap onto it.

Any suggestions for a repair?

You could try a a sail maker, or a company  that repairs tents and awnings

I'd get a piece of olive denim on the inside and run it under a domestic sewing machine with a leather or heavy canvas needle and heavy thread then 'proof the denim.
