Bottom drivers door hinge

I assume this is the wrong bottom hinge for a series 2a 109 , just doesn't look right

No
That is the right hinge but it is mounted upside down. The short bit of the hinge should be on the bulkhead so the hinge pin is positioned right on the shut line of the door to the bulkhead.

If you flip it over, flip the hinge pin bolt over as well so the nut remains at the bottom.
