Not sure if this is the correct forum but just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the lightweight, good, bad, worth doing up, parts available and any comparison to series 2a, many thanks

I have a feeling that you are in no danger of being thrown off the forum for enquiring about Lightweights.

Wittsend owns one!

There are other owners and former owners (me) on here too.

They are certainly worth "doing up" and many parts are common to the SIIA and SIII.

If you go for a 24v one make sure the original charging & ignition systems are still intact & working. I have seen some appalling bodges & naive repairs & modifications.
