1.6m drop

I was thinking about the dash panel light question yesterday and quite tangentially, I was sure from the late 80's I remembered a diagram showing a military requirement of the first series 1s, that they had to be able to drive off a platform 1.6m from the ground at speed without sustaining damage. Does anyone remember?

I've seen the Willy's jeeps do this. It's surprising how far you can jump one actually... even with a trailer in tow. 😉
