I use paraffin then undiluted Traffic Film remover

I've got a diesel heated pressure washer and it's effective at cleaning engines and gearboxes. Appreciate it's not something everyone has lying around but if you can get hold of one, they work.

Ultimately, I have found only one product works:  Grease.

Elbow grease, that is.

But I don't lose sleep about how spotlessly clean my gearbox is, as nobody is going to see it when the tunnel and seatbox are back on.....

TFR could be a good shout. I had a van leaking oil and brake fluid all over my car trailer last year, left a terrible mess.

My next collection was a brand new luxury car so I used some undiluted tfr in my snow foam attachment and applied with my cold water battery powered jet wash gun. I couldn't believe how clean my trailer came up afterwards, the galvanising looked new
