I used the Land Rover Orphanage once to buy the correct distributor for my 2.5 engine at least 12 years ago. They charged me £11 including delivery. I sent the distributor to the Doctor for a rebuild and it's still on the engine today fitted with Pertronix electronic ignition.

Pegasus did not honour the club discount and did indeed demand 100% payment upfront.

To be clear, I understand the bulkhead I ordered was made by Shielder, although the website makes no mention of that fact, saying instead (on the listing of the galvanised item I ordered) that "All our bulkheads are formed and fabricated in-house by experienced fabricators". In any event, both companies are run by the same family - the Coyles.
