Tracing reg letters on number plates?

I used to have it bookmarked but that's disappeared for some reason, so could anyone
point me in the direction of tracing number plate lettering in regard to districts please.

Thanks for that link although as a Yorkshireman I'm shocked to discover my TB reg is from Lancashire  :confused

I have a copy of glass's index of suffix marks 1963-70 ,it's a bit ink stained but entirely ledgable.it is a mine of information.

Mark I darent tell you that when we were in Wales I thought you might suffer a heart attack.  None of ours were registered in Lancashire and the blue S1 that was with us is true Yorkshire, registered in Doncaster but YOD is a foreigner coming from DEvon

Bad enough having to live in Lancashire if I had a Lancs registration as well I think I would have had to buy a personal number
