Is there a difference in front wing side panels S2-2a-3? The offerings from Paintman and SP stated as S2 look different.Thoughts? Any preferences? Does anyone do new wing tops?? Can't seem to find any on the interweb. Ta

The obvious difference is lights in the wing or not. Where there are no lights in the wings there are still some detail differences, but I'm sure somebody will be able to expand on that.

I have a pair of NOS top, front and inner wing assemblies in bronze green still with their MOD part number labels. Obviously as rare as a rare thing, so although for sale, they will not be cheap. I'm hanging on to them for somebody who wants to do a very original restoration. If you are that person, let me know.

I've also got some military spec outer wing panels. Same as civilian apart from a reinforcement plate and hole to support a rubber buffer to permit the door to swing right round and hit the wing. Again - LR Genuine NOS.

Be aware that the inner/top/front wing panels are not the same between long and short wheelbase as the inner wings are different due to the different chassis depth. These were supplied as one assembly, but it would be nice if reproductions were available.

I saw that ULTRA metal craft are now producing reproduction inner panels, and when questioned, they said they would be doing both 88 and 109 spec ones, suggesting they are aware of the difference  :cheers-man

There is also the variant of LH inner wings that have, or don't have the exhaust cutout in them!
