Back in the day, you could not have too many holes in a front wing panel it seems.🫣

Yeah. The inner one was plated from behind, so an upper and lower light (as in the military S2's?). I picked up the rather bashed about pair of wings recently for this front panel and will be using the two topmost holes

That looks like a front mounted number plate light was fitted there.

I forgot to include my lower edge repair earlier. 2mm ali plate with a sharp return on the lower edge and countersunk rivets.

No going back now, the block is now light enough to just about lift, so I can organise getting it sent away for work on the bores, crank, and possibly camshaft.👍

Took her on a road trip from Peterborough to Betws-Y-Coed, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Harlech, Dolgellau and home again. To be fair, I went on Saturday and came back today.

I must get the wipers to properly clear the glass rather than just smudging the water around!

RainX does the trick.
Clean your windows with it and add some to your screen wash bottle.

For serious series - this is the handbrake back plate from my vehicle. It's does have the expander unit held in with the clips, or more accurately should have as there was only one clip present.
Hope that clarifies things.
Many thanks Jamie

This is the plate I have it has the same number on that you quoted when I got it out there was no expander fitted.
Message me an address and email address for courier.
I will pack it and get a quote for shipping.

Heated it, hit it, hit it harder, air chiselled it and still stuck. Yes! It's leaf spring bush. Left it before I threw the  hammer. Today I will get the reciprocating saw on it.

I usually drill out the rubber and knock the inner tube through then hacksaw through the outer tube and collapse it but yeah, endless opportunity for bloody knuckles and creative destruction!  :cheers

Yeah. The rubber burnt nicely. Let's see how the saw fairs later.
