Can anyone suggest where best to get this from? emberton Imp stock a hose but at 54" it's not long enough for two sections 39" & 44"? so works out very expensive.
Is it ID/OD 32/38mm?

I bought mine from these people and their 32mm was a perfect tight fit over the screen ducts and
slipped nicely into the square heater holes as well.

I used a generic black vacuum (Hoover) hose, purchased off Ebay

Garden centres sell various diameters oof pond pump hose by the meter off the reel.

Uffddd

I bought a length from Emberton and it was quite long enough for both runs. Passenger side is about half the length of the drivers side. Not just 5" less.

Anybody seen a source in the old light grey colour? That's what would have been fitted originally.

In the days when Rovers and old P38 were prevalent in breakers yards, the right sized heater ducting hose was readily available, but always black. I suspect it went black to make it more UV compatible. The grey ducting didn't last 5 minutes in hot climates.

The origional plastic ribbed hose of the correct profile is no longer available (for any car). The last manufacturer scrapped the tooling about 10 years ago as it was "not cost effective":'( . Screwed up the classic supply market is one swoop

My 88 had it's original impregnated cloth around a thin springy wire coil that was very fragile by the early nineties.

My 57 MY59 Model 88 had Original Heating Demister Ducting impregnated Black cloth around a thin springy wire coil.

I had purchased Gray Plastic Heating Demister Ducting from PA Blanchards

As my Original Ducting was Black - I Believed that the Gray Plastic Heating Demister Ducting was originally Military Fitment ?

There are many suppliers of Black Plastic Heating Demister Ducting on ebay etc and its is not expansive

The closest to the Original Heating Demister Ducting impregnated Black cloth around a thin springy wire coil is Manufactured by Wyrem - Venair Wyrem Black Neoprene Flexible Ducting but is quite expensive.

The grey ducting was certainly used on the civilian vehicles by the mid sixties, my '67 had always had it and I have seen a numbers of earlier motors with in which looked original.
The old days are the old days only because there're gone and won't be back.

Yup - my 1965 is certainly grey.
