Hi Everyone, its Alan, dopey/Tonys son, just wanted to say thank you for the kind words from everyone. If anyone fancies one last laugh at his expense then ive attached the following photo from the first(?) club rally. where he thought he could drive through the lake in the off road park (cant be as deep as everyones saying, lets just have a go, we can just float to the otherside if anything happens) and another where he liked to really help out with the club goings on.

ill have a look at the rebuild thread, and see where he got up to! its 98% finished now and "passed an MOT" but theres still a few things i want to do before i can say its finished.

thanks again everyone for the kind words.

Very sad news, I never met Tony in person, but I remember he supplied me some anti scuff paste when I was fitting an overdrive back in the mid 2000's, I always enjoyed his posts also I've been following his build, Paul

I knew your dad a bit. As well as seeing hime at the nationals we went round his 2 or 3 times when we were near Heathrow. Bought a satnav app from him which we then spent a lot of time comunicating over, as it turned out to be locked to the first device on which it was registered - got there in the end !

Thought something had happened to him before as he disappeared from the forum for a while. Turned out he was away somwhere else in the world driving for another film. It was good when his posts started to reappear.

Anyone who met him will miss him.
