I regret to say that Barbara died, not very peacefully, in my arms, on Sunday evening .... (There is not much more thar I can say) .... surrounded by our daughter and her team of carers. We were married for 59 years.

I'm not sure what my future holds whether within this club, in Milton Keynes, or Wherever.

John, on behalf of all of us, many condolences for your loss - such very sad news. I'm sure others will agree that we have come to know your trials and tribulations with Barbara's health over recent years along with your own challenges.
I for one have thoroughly enjoyed your input on this forum and when you are not around, there is definitely something missing. Its entirely your call of course, but please don't feel you need to leave this forum or the club in general. There is still a mine of experience there and we all benefit from your comments and insight.
Take your time and I hope you find the strength to cope with a great loss. The club and this forum is a friendly place - do keep in touch!
With all best wishes to you and your family. Our thoughts are with you during what must be a very difficult time.

" No need to reply " .... John I felt compelled to reply but what can you say to someone who has lost his wife.

All I can do is to express my sincerest condolences to you and your family and to say you are in our thoughts.

It seems such a long time ago when my wife and I met you both, you were living " back home " in Wales then.

Look after yourself and keep popping in " here " from time to time  :cheers-man
