2a Dashboard

Have just started  a series 2a renovation but it has tge series 3 dashboard fitted above the steering wheel. It is a 1969 model, is this a transition thing or should I replace it with the usual centre of the console style?

The Series 3 type instrument cluster wasn't fitted to 2A's. It's obviously been fitted to place the instruments in easier view of the driver.

Which suggests a Series 3 bulkhead???

If you'd care to message me the chassis number, I can let you know when it left the factory and therefore its spec, colour and destination at the time. Then you can start to figure out what's been 'modified' over the years and how much of the original truck remains.

As diffwhine says.  S3 bulkhead.  You can't fit a S3 dash to a 2a bulkhead without some very serious butchering
