Defender 300tdi accelerator pedal to a 2A

Anyone know if a Defender 300tdi throttle pedal will retro-fit to my 2A?  It's been suggested before. Don't have all the linkages for originality, so any advice about cable-operated go pedal please.

I have one in my 1965 109".
Mine is from a 200 TDi and the cable goes through the bulkhead and fits perfectly to the 200 TD1 distributor pump.
I had to modify it a little.
I will try to find some pictures.
Loads on the internet.

Jessie is a '64 petrol SWB with Weber 14 new carb.

I made a stout clevis and attached it to my S2 pedal Has been there since 2014 with no issues.
