Thanks for allowing me to join.

My first car back in the 80s was a SWB 2A petrol, reg 811 EMO. I sold it some time in the 1990s.

Not that I'm getting closer to retirement, I'd love the chance to buy it back and restore it myself. It's currently listed as being SORN and the colour appears to have changed from blue to green.

However, that registration number, if transferable, could well be on another car now.

If so, it makes it a little less easy to identify.

The DVLA check shows its to still be on a 1963 Land Rover.
