Met up with the S2C local rep. in the Netherlands,  Adrian Smulders, at the Dutch Land Rover Register meeting last weekend

Managed to sort the front crank pulley out, the original one was badly scored so it's gone. Fitted a later pulley and a new seal which as allowed me to fit an exterior timing pointer - so glad I did the mod to the front oil seal plate made life a lot easier. I'll check out the timing alignment when I do the tappets, gave the sump a little clean up at the same time ready to be refitted shortly - all good fun.

Finally removed the AVM FWHs that leaked, replaced with fixed hubs. Washed out the muck from the brake backplate.

Took the seat box and floor bits out to get the gearbox and transfer case out to do the clutch. Bit too much sealant sticking it down I think.

Still a lot of mud from the Cheddar weekend (thanks TimV for organising that - great fun). And ford water in the seat box :(

Under seat box looks a bit worse for wear and I think I'll jetwash it before I go any further!

Fitted the sump, changed the oil filter and refitted the front panel / radiator, filled with fresh oil and anti freeze. Checked the new timing pointer which works out to be identical to the flywheel marks, all cleaned and ready for his photo shoot next week.

I went green-laning for the first time in years. I've realised I have forgotten how much fun it is!

Camping for the weekend in Llanidloes, drove lanes around Rhayader, got permission to drive the link road from Claerwen reservoir over to Strata Florida. Drove SF which was a real treat.

The 109 behaved herself impeccably.

Great photos, surely a candidate for the September photo competition.

Spent a pleasant ten minutes being David Bailey taking photos for the agreed valuation part of the insurance.
