Not a S2 BUT - Defender 90 Flying Huntsman Homage II Edition
« on: August 04, 2019, 07:14:15 PM »

Thought this would be appropriate for my first topic here since it was the last topic I tried to post on the old forum.

Defender 90 Flying Huntsman Homage II Edition

Found the following in my news feed the other morning.  I know, I know... it's not a  S2 or S2a, but there is a slight nod to them, and some of you might find it interesting.

Custom Land Rover Defender Marries Vintage Styling With Modern Engineering - price £110,000.00 / $134,490.00.

https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/custom-land-rover-defender-marries-230002594.html

At least it has a Series 2 "style" front grille...

Mpudi: So how did the land rover get up the tree?
Steyn: Do you know she has flowers on her panties?
Mpudi: So that's how it got up the tree.

Am I right in thinking it would fail an MOT due to the head lights being in the middle, some US law made them move to the outer wings during thr 2a era.

What an abomination. Still beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that.

Hi Correus,

I'll see your OT and raise you an OT. (Have I said that right).

Yesterday, Barbara said she'd like a Range Rover. I think she was serious. I wonder if had anything to do with our mortgage statement implying that we could have another "five figures" @ 3%?

Unfortunately for SWMBO, I also noticed that we are not paying anything off the capital. I think that her and me will be having words about that ... using one of my twice yearly "put my foot down" trump cards.

I think the headlights in the grill will be technically sidelights. To get round the law the “headlights” look to be little projector type jobs under the indicators.

Looks nasty anyway!

Certainly does look nasty.. Those little lights in the middle of the wings alluded to above look particularly daft, nee ugly... :shakeinghead
