Nice S2 in the Catskills (US) - on here?
« on: July 09, 2022, 04:02:07 AM »

Saw this nice and fairly original S2 (early I guess) in the Catskills north of New York today on a day trip. First proper Landrover I saw the past two weeks. Is the owner on the forum? I must say it has aged very well for my taste!

New York State is one of the areas you have a chance of seeing old Rovers in the US.  The New England area and North West Coast are the main areas.  You will see them along the rest of the East Coast and West Coast as well as the Gulf Coast area.  After that you'll see a smattering of them in some major metro areas like Chicago, Vegas and such.  I've been all over the Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri areas and have as yet to see one on the road, but they are out there.

Mpudi: So how did the land rover get up the tree?
Steyn: Do you know she has flowers on her panties?
Mpudi: So that's how it got up the tree.

There are quite a few running around in upstate NY.   The Red and Blue ones were the donors for CD5 46S. I sold her back around 2009. Hopefully she is still running around the Albany area of NY.
