Middle of Lidl
« on: December 30, 2021, 08:02:23 PM »

I guess the marketing guys at Lidl think that men get money for Christmas so the store is now jam packed with bits of workshop kit including a combined bench grinder and belt sander that I would have bought had I not already bought the double grinder. The Dremell is back in stock again for £16.99 and this time there are a load of different attachments like depth gauges for the grinding stones and also a handle so you can grip it more like you would a pencil giving you more control over your work. They also have hot glue guns, a very compact yet powerful looking electric screwdriver, digital heat gun, laser level, work table, loads of stuff I can’t remember. I bought another Dremell because I managed to break the chuck on mine.

Cheers, I will try to bag myself a belt sander/grinder if they still have any. I never knew that you can use one to blunt a chisel until I saw this photo!
