Can anyone recommend a place to get michelin xzl tyres at a reasonable price. I can't find them anywhere for under 200 a piece.
Alternatively something similar that would suit a swb military Land rover

Another tyre that the military used and goes well on Wolf rims is a Goodyear G90.
I've got them on my SWB civilian Series 3 and they look good.

I don't think brand new G90's will be much cheaper

My G90's were £130 a corner back in 2020 so I wonder what they are now

I think I will have to find an alternative cheaper all terrain tyre. There are quite a few Michelins on ebay and marketplace but the problem is that many of them are really old tyres.
Might go back to looking at the Maxxis or the Comforser brands.

Not sure i understand the question. £200ish is a reasonable price - about going-rate. If we require delivery, 4-5 tyres are heavy and awkward. Has to add another £50-60.

If we want a lower price, so happens a mate is distributor for Michelin. He can source any Michelin product. If any of you are interested in a bulk-buy PM me. This isn't Star Trek. Problem as ever will be distribution, more so because they're bulky and heavy. if it's cheap we're after, can't see delivery working. Buyer would 'think commercial'  thus make it easy to sell to.
You would collect Luton/ Milton-Keynes. I suspect the price will be cheap for Michelins, which for fans of tyre-threads is not the same as cheap.

Try Camskill tyres. £165 each for xzl including the robbery tax. Plus, if you can get it to work a rebate from Michelin until the end of June.

Bigtyres are another good online supplier. Bigtyres.co.uk

That is actually a good price. I'll give them a try

That is cheap. Usually the trick seems to be to stay away from 7.50 x 16. They're subsidising delivery at £26.00 by burying it in retail price too. There's no way you can move 4-5 tyres for £26.00.

I'm impressed with Camskill - their website appears to have good availabilty.  Personally I'd look at the BFG Mud Terrain at £197.50 per tyre incl. VAT for 750/16 (£30 more than the XZL).  From my experience these are compliant on wet tarmac

I just bought 5 xzl's from camskill. Couldn't get the Michelin rebate process to work but that's not camskill's fault.
No issues with them, prompt delivery and I'm chuffed with the tyres.
