Annoying - a bit of spit & polish.

Hope they did more damage to theirs.

Yet another tip run this afternoon getting rid of stuff that my wife has cut down.  I have to bag it up too, at least it is an excuse to drive YOD.  Now I have just finished removing and refitting a tyre to put the inner tube fitted by a tyre place in the correct way round.  Doing 750s with levers in this heat is hard work when you get past 70.  It has reminded me though why I change my own.  I did one on the rally field at Rutland in 2018 and that was a warm day.  Wittsend has a photo of me outside the community centre afterwards and I look knackered.

Completed the install of my repaired transfer box - just waiting for some more parts then hopefully all sorted by next week;

On top of that completed the install of my rear disc brake conversion, managed to bleed them manually (the wife's right foot) all done.

I'm also fitting an X brake on the handbrake - so disc all round - OK totally over the top but it has to be done  :coffee  :pedal  :)  ;)

Getting on with the 109 rebuild. Cut out the rotten lower door frame and welded in a new piece. Perfect weather for laying some primer on the grass.

Drilling out spot welds to remove the door pillar foot.

Yesterday (I am not working this early in a morning)

Just checked the tyre that I fettled on Thursday to make sure that everything is OK

I need to paint the wheel now if it ever stops raining ready for fitting next week

Running round the countryside trying to find a spare mushroom oil filler cap for somebody who has managed to lose his the day before a road trip to Cornwall on holiday. Lucky I've got a spare old engine!

If anybody has a good one they would like to sell, please let me know and I can get my spare one back!
